This is a stunning, and extremely elegant Art Deco celestial ring.   Crafted from 18ct Gold and platinum, it features  an 8 point Sapphire star, which surrounds a central bezel set old cut diamond of approximately 0.30 points.  8 diamonds border this star, and each shoulder boasts a further twinkling diamond.

The beautifully cut sapphires and hand cut diamonds are all extremely lively and sparkle beautifully in the natural light.  

Currently a UK size Q 1/2, which is a US size 8 1/4,  this ring could be re-sized up or down.     It weighs a healthy 4.14g and is in excellent vintage condition;  To note: there is a teeny fracture in the central bezel which really can only be seen under a loupe, and does not detract from the beauty of this ring.  

Sapphires have been known to symbolise  love, truth and faithfulness, so it's no surprise that they remain a very popular choice for engagement rings.  The colour blue is also said to stand for wealth and royalty!
